Satish Narayanan Said: Horrible, dont buy this one ( Nov. 24th 2009 )
This one stopped working within 30 days of me buying it. Pathetic product, will never buy this and will ensure i type in a bad review to save other buyers. Was fine for the first few days and one fine day, i put this in my laptop and my comp says it cannot recognize the drive and after several comps realized the drive was gone, a waste of my money. Dont waste your money on this one,
Alex Arruda Said: Will not store images of dogs ( Nov. 24th 2009 )
I bought two of these flash drives for my grandfather for his 82nd birthday. A longtime computer user and animal lover, my grandfather has been accumulating a large database of images of dogs in a folder on his desktop for over 10 years. With hard drive space running low and a decade of work in jeopardy, it seemed like the perfect time to give him a quick, simple solution to archiving his project for longevity. Boy, could I not have been more wrong. This flash drive works perfectly in every way, except IT WON'T STORE PICTURES OF DOGS! I click on his folder, drag it to the drive, and I get an error message saying the disk is full or write-protected! I tried copying individual images one at a time and got the same message. I even tried downloading new images of every different kind of dog I could come up with, but still no luck. I am finding this very strange because pictures of cats, ferrets, reptiles, etc. all seem to work just fine, along with pictures of cars, tomatoes and small leaves, and even funny sound clips from the film "Kingpin." Has anyone else had this problem?
c. logan Said: Best Flash Drive I Have Used ( Nov. 22nd 2009 )
I had owned about 6 different USB drives before I bought this one. And so far this has been the best. And the price was unbelievable. I only paid $32 with shipping. I check Best Buy and this same flash drive cost a little over $75, so you wont find a better price anywhere else.
Mark Twain Said: It's a USB drive, what's there to say? ( Nov. 17th 2009 )
Performs well, good capacity, good price. I actually use the U3 feature, which allows you to run apps entirely from the drive. For example, I have Thunderbird and WinAmp installed on mine, and I use them to read personal email and listen to music on my work computer. I could see some people not liking this feature if they just want bare storage, but it's fairly simple to uninstall.
Edward F. Shimkus Said: Simple Device, Easy to Use ( Nov. 16th 2009 )
Although I have seen some "business" women wearing these devices as jewelry, I decided on a flash drive for data transfer because of its portability and speed of data transfer. I decided on a SanDisk because I have a SanDisk MP3 player that has served me well for many years. The Cruzer Micro is good to go right out of the box; just plug it into a USB port (no setup software needed). As with many other flash drives, to protect it, the USB male connector slides into the unit's housing when not in use. Good gadget, reasonable price.
